LGS Shopping Experience: my favorite shops

Today I'd like to start a new section in my blog, dedicated to my favorite shops in Italy and abroad, hoping that you can appreciate it and find it useful for your shopping spree.

Today I'm starting with probably one of the best perfumery in Milan, Profumo.
Founded in 1984 in the hearth of the Brera District, Profumo stands out completely from the traditional perfumery concept, with an accurate selection of exclusive niche products, carefully selected by Nicoletta Astori, owner of the boutique and true talent scouts in the field.

Here you can find a deep selection of Dyptique candles and perfumes, Cire Trudone candles and many niche perfumery brands such as Creed, Frederic Malle, Montale Paris, Etat Libre d’Orange, Mona di Orio, Carthusia, Hervè Gambs.

Moreover, at Profumo you can find a wide selection of niche cosmetic brands, such as Malin+Goetz (try their Detox face mask, it's awesome), Dr.Sebagh, N.V: Perricone.

Entering in Profumo is like making a big step in the past, thanks to its particular interior design that vaguely reminds old pharmacies.
I usually go to Profumo for Dyptique and Cire Trudon candles, as well as for the sales assistants competence and courtesy; they always make me discover new peoducts or brands.
Profumo is in Via Brera n. 6 and it's open Monday to Saturday.
Make a stop next time you're in Milan.

Wine tasting...

Chianti, Barbaresco, Amarone, Barolo....when it comes to wines (and food!), Italians do it better (it's not the same when we talk about public debt though)...the shades of our most famous wines are one of the top trends this winter (I've already said that here), no matter if it's a bag, a jumper or pants....we must have something burgundy in our closet which is a really versatile color as it can go with black, white, camel and even blue.
I've picked up a Zara jumper about a month ago. What about you? Do you like this color? Have you already bought you burgundy item? I leave you with some ispirational streetstyle pictures. Let me know what you think!

Camel +  burgundy bag + leather pants, just perfect!!

Some of my favourites

Red dress and ballerinas is always a perfect combination.
I still love statement necklaces.

Emanuelle Alt is one of my favourite style muse; her parisian-chic style is so cool.

Buy a felt hat for this winter....

Ok, I get it, it's python year, but I think leo still rocks, especially if paired with red.

First thing to do in London next month: find these awesome Topshop dotty pants, as seen on The Man Repeller.

I love to put my Hermès scarves on my head! Don't know how to do it? Look down.

I love this Tom Ford pumps seen on Gala.

Leather pants paired with a simple white t-shirt are beautiful.

I'm still looking for the perfect grey coat...

Style notes: winterize your wardrobe!

Wrap yourself in a warm, cozy Christmas-y sweater this winter...they're super cool!!!
There's something for every taste and budget!

Versace for H&M: what do you think?

The collection will be in stores next week. I've looked at the photos on the internet, but I think I'm not gonna buy anything, a) because Versace is not my kind of designer (it's simply too much for me!!!) and b) because I tend to arrive always too late when there's nothing left in the stores!

Despite that, I think this is a great opportunity for a brand like Versace to revamp its image after years of financial problems and the death of his creative soul, Gianni Versace.
And I've appreciated the collection presentation made by Donatella herself when in June during Men's SS Fashion Week ran the catwalk with the black studded dress.

By the way, what do you think about the collection? Here's a sneak peek (even though you've already seen it everywhere on the web) so you can tell me your opinion.

I can't miss a photo of my style icon Blake-Serena; the fabulous blonde was wearing a 2012 resort Versace mini dress during the Versace for H&M presentation in New York.

I love how she paired it up with matte tights and a tuxedo jacket. What do you think?
